This midnight-lovely shrug is hand-painted on 19.5mm silk charmeuse. It has a lovely drape and swing, and is beaded around the peek-a-boo shoulder and elbows, and down the front, such that it sits well on the body. Set the shoulder beads on the shoulder seams, and just let it hang as it wants to! A wonderful, un-fussy alternative to a shawl, a more elegantly feminine alternative to a jacket, it can be rolled into a very small package and travels well! This is a flattering and fun year-round accessory, but its weave and heavier weight makes it most ideally suited for cool-to-cold temperatures, and hangs out its wrinkles fairly well, but steaming or ironing will help it look its best.
